What happens when a customer returns an item?
myCred automatically adjusts points on refunds. When an order is refunded through Shopify, the corresponding points are deducted from the customer’s balance. This is included in the Free plan.
Is there a free plan? What are the limits?
Yes, there is a forever-free plan. It includes points on orders/visits/sign-ups, discount coupons, free shipping redemption, rule priority, points rounding, sale product exclusions, and auto-adjust on refunds. Upgrading to Standard ($14.99/mo) unlocks features like product-specific and collection-specific loyalty programs, birthday automation, widget design controls, points expiration, and notification controls. The Pro plan ($24.99/mo) adds dynamic discounts, milestone-based points, Judge.me integration, and enterprise customization.
Can I run multiple loyalty programs at the same time?
Yes, myCred supports multiple program types simultaneously. You can run a standard points program alongside a VIP tier program and a referral program — all at once. This is available on the Pro plan.
How do customers see their points and redeem rewards?
Customers see a clean, branded widget on every store page. Their points balance is always visible. At checkout, available redemption options (discounts, free shipping, etc.) are shown. Customers can also view their full points history and rewards in their Shopify Customer Account dashboard.
