Some users have reported an error after updating the scratch card add-on in their wp-admin area, where once the plugin is updated and they refresh the page, they get an error like this: “The plugin mycred-scratch/mycred-scratch.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.”

If you get this error, it means WordPress downloaded the new update but failed to name the folder correctly. To fix this, go to your wp-content/plugins/ folder on your website, find the folder named something like “actionupdatemycred….” (very long file name) to just:mycred-scratch.Once you renamed the folder, you can then re-enable the plugin in your admin area and it will work again.

The error seems to be coming from my host and I am working with them on resolving this.

Update: This has been resolved. Turns out it was not my host acting up but Coda (my scripting software) that zipped files incorrectly.
