Rename myCRED

Home / Code Snippets / Rename myCRED

Re-label myCRED to “SuperPoints”.

add_filter( 'mycred_label', 'mycred_pro_relable_mycred' );
function mycred_pro_relable_mycred() {
	return 'SuperPoints';

The above code snippet goes into your theme's functions.php file.

  1. I pasted this code is my functions.php file but it does’t relabel mycred. I am using myCRED 1.6

    Neither the myCRED label in my left hand wordpress admin bar changes nor does it change the label myCRED under point types default label.

    Please help.

  2. Hi “RBRGI”,

    Here I found another article answering your query:

    As per that link:
    Note that if you use a html element in your name; as myCRED does, these elements will be stripped off in certain situation, like in the Widget description. This filter is not available in the following instances:
    1. During myCRED Setup
    2. When viewing your Plugins Page in your admin area

    (Plugin Name defaults to myCRED)
    (Requires myCRED 1.1)
