As some of you might have noticed, I have been behind support tickets and 1.8 development for the past few weeks.
I want to start by apologizing for this delay and for everyone who is waiting for 1.8 or help via the support ticket system. Please note that you are not being ignored.
I have for the past few weeks been limited with time for how much myCred related work I can do due to some personal family issues, and this has caused me to lag behind. I am working on catching up as fast as I can and wanted to apologize for the delay. I will also be extending all active licenses this week with 60 days as compensation.
Lottery Schedule Issue
There has been some reports on daily run lotteries are getting scheduled incorrectly when you first start a lottery. If you have experienced this issue, try the following:
- Edit the lottery in question
- Fast Forward the lottery schedule to the position it should be right now, e.g. draw winners or start.
- Once the lottery is in the right position (even if the wrong date is shown), scroll down to the Schedule metabox and in the bottom of the box, tick the “Re-Schedule Lottery” checkbox.
- Once ticked, scroll back up and save. Once the page has refreshed the correct schedule should be applicable.
Version 2.0 of the lottery add-on, which is a complete re-write of the plugin is currently out on a closed alpha test with some customers. Once initial bugs have been sorted out, the beta will be available for all license holders. The lottery add-on version 2.0 is scheduled for launch January 15th.
1.8 Beta
I will be spending most of this week updating the beta version of myCred 1.8. If all goes well, the current schedule for 1.8 is December 18th. If I am unable to get things up and ready before December 20th, the launch will be pushed forward to January 2nd.
Christmas Holidays
I will be away from December 20th until December 27th but will be back to do some work between Christmas and New Years.
